A Killer Phantom Lion!?!?

PLEASE READ!!!!!

So,one night in my game I was walking around with my pride when all of a sudden,They all died at once!I then looked around to see what animal could have killed my pride,But there were no animals around!I was really freaked out and started looking around when my health bar started draining! (Not to mention that my food and water bar were both full) Once I died I saw a male adult lion that was transparent and white like a ghost! Before I could take a screen shot he disappeared!!!!
Can someone please tell me if this is supposed to happen!?!
